.... oh how much he has grown now!

I am re-posting about this to join up with
Blogger's Quilt Festival May 2010

Being Mummy ...

Crazy week with all of us 'off colour' ...
but we're getting back on top of things again (& the extra washing!)
Nothing quite like changing a child & their bed more than a few times a day!
Anyway - all is good now! Whew!
So the rainbow is now high in the sky!
Hooray ...
I've had a fabulous pile of felt colours calling out!
'make Oscar a felt board please'
So a canvas frame & a larger felt piece, staple gunned to the back ...
some TV viewing & some shapes cut ready to go!
Oh & a rainbow cut ...
but we haven't played with that yet
.... A Mum's got to always have more ideas up your sleeve!
Edit: Here's another felt board from a fabulous blog I've just found!

I Just had to show this shot of my boy off!
He's wearing a brand new thrifted hand knitted jumper from the Echuca Salvos! They rock!
Also thrifted in this photo: Green Dino roll-around toy, fav Tups Shape-O & that awesome little dolls house I painted soft aqua that you can just see half of!

A lot of water under the bridge ....

When one of my brothers was about 5 or 6 he did a fabulous drawing of the Sydney Harbour Bridge .... long story about how but it ended up on the front cover of the Australian 'Architect' magazine .... I colour photocopied it & framed it
(yes - I do framing too in the spare moments I can!)
for his Birthday ... now 30 something!
Cute huh!
He had signed it but I've smudged his name off for privacy!
