I'm aiming to make a value quilt
using half square triangles just like the lovely
Katie from Willy Nilly . . .
She is doing a quilt-a-long
& I'm planning on making a quilt
using this method in King size!
My goal is to have every triangle
a different fabric!
from my stash
& am going to swap some about
with a few friends!
I've worked out I have a
1/4 of the fabrics I'll need!
On Friday morning I met with some
great Aussie talent, blog-land girls:
Andi, Rita, Karen & Kate
Great catchup & some info shared on all sorts of subjects!
Thanks girls!
Hope you have had a great weekend . . .
In Melbourne we've had a couple of glorious spring days!
Yesterday was just perfect for
attending a Wedding don't you think!
Hence the gorgeous roses in the 2nd shot!
So much fun as we danced the night away!
Lovely to catch up with you too Wendy!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to pull out some fabrics to send you tonight.
Thanks for the link to Karen's blog. I omitted to include it in my post!!!
Catch you soon.
Andi :-)
It was lovely meeting you Wendy - will look forward to catching up again.
ReplyDeleteSaturday was a stunning day for a wedding!
Cheers,
Karen
I followed you over from Katie's site....I have just started by very first quilt ever and am making the value quilt in a KING size also. I've got 400 squares cut! It seems I'm always about 10 days behind Katie but I'm hoping to catch up this week. Good luck and I will start posting my progress on the Flickr value quilt group this week. (I think we are the only 2 going for the king size)
